At present, having moved from Bishopsland in the South Oxfordshire countryside to Hereford, my work explores themes relating to nature and what the countryside has to offer in abundance.
I find inspiration from the vast imagery in scenery to the minute flowers and seeds, and how the seasons change their forms, textures and colours.
I collate studies from nature by extracting natural objects, drawing and photographing them as closely as possible, examining their construction and shapes.
The first thing that will draw my eye is line, recreating this attraction in silver by piercing or chasing and secondly, producing relief with repoussé or by press forming.
