The inclusion of humour is very important in all aspects of Bronwen's work, along with function (no matter how small!) No two pieces are identical; therefore they display a unique character which is further developed by the personality of the 'owner'.
The inspirations for her creations are taken from a diverse and very varied range of influences such as comedy, mechanical components, symbols, movement and text.
Words and narrative derived from all areas play an essential role in the thought process and construction of her pieces.
Emphasis is places on her choice of materials and finishes, as they must be robust, tactile and pleasing to the eye, whilst able to withstand the pressures of fabrication such as; pressing, manipulation and patination.
