Jonathon makes his Celadon glazed tableware from his workshop near Whitney on Wye. The rural environment provides much of the inspiration for his work, along with influences from oriental pottery and more specifically the work of Hamada. He uses four glazes which are made in part from clay and ashes collected locally, which used in combination, give him the vibrant colours of the landscape.
