Alloy members occasionally run classes, suitable for people with a varying range of experience, at the purpose built workshops in The Courtyard.

Stone Setting Workshop
Flush and Tube Setting Facetted Stones and Cabochons.
Saturday 27th February 2010
10.00am - 4.00pm

This workshop will provide you with the techniques necessary for flush setting stones into flat and curved surfaces and tube setting cabochons and facetted stones. After a practical demonstration of each technique students will be encouraged to practice the techniques using CZ's or small cabochons.
C.Z's will be provided , cabochons may be supplied at a small extra cost or supplied by students. 

Setting tools will be provided for use on the day but students are welcome to bring along their own. A full materials and tools list will be sent out to those attending the workshop. 
Some previous metalworking experience necessary.

Cost £75 plus materials (students and recent graduates £65)
